Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Thalassacore maritime management platform ("Service") operated by Thalassacore Maritime Systems ("we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Description

Thalassacore is a cloud-based vessel management platform providing fleet management, voyage operations, maintenance planning, crew management, procurement, and related maritime operational tools. The Service is delivered as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) accessible via web browser.

2. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one trial account

3. Trial Accounts

Trial accounts are provided free of charge for a period of 30 days. Trial accounts include pre-loaded demonstration data to help you evaluate the platform. We reserve the right to:

• Limit features available during the trial period
• Suspend or terminate trial accounts at any time
• Delete trial account data after the trial period expires (90-day grace period)

4. Data Ownership

You grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service. This license terminates when you delete your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of maritime regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other tenants' data or system infrastructure
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service beyond provided APIs
• Share account credentials with unauthorized third parties
• Resell or redistribute the Service without written authorization

6. Multi-Tenant Environment

Thalassacore operates as a multi-tenant platform where multiple organizations share common infrastructure. Each tenant's data is logically isolated. You acknowledge that:

• Your data is stored alongside other tenants' data on shared infrastructure
• We implement strict access controls to prevent cross-tenant data access
• Platform administrators may access system metadata for operational purposes but not your tenant data without explicit authorization

7. Availability & Support

We aim to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible. Support is provided via email at admin@thalassacore.com.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, features, and documentation, is owned by Thalassacore Maritime Systems and protected by intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service during the subscription period.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim
• We are not responsible for decisions made based on data displayed in the platform

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the service relationship:

• By You: Cancel your account at any time. Your data will be available for export for 30 days after cancellation
• By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, with notice except in cases of urgent security concern

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated 30 days in advance via email to registered users. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal proceedings.
