Terms of Service

Last updated: May 21, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Thalassacore maritime operating system ("Service") operated by Thalassacore Maritime Systems ("we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you represent that you are an authorized representative of a subscriber entity and agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Scope & Availability

Thalassacore is a multi-tenant enterprise software-as-a-service (SaaS) application providing marine operations, Planned Maintenance (PMS), crewing compliance, procurement, drydock, and commercial estimating workflows. We endeavor to achieve a 99.9% uptime Service Level Agreement (SLA) for the shore-based application, excluding scheduled maintenance windows.

2. Data Tenancy & Isolation

Strict Tenant Boundary: Thalassacore enforces multi-tenant database isolation. Your organizational data is segregated using secure tenant identifiers. We implement physical and logical barriers to ensure your operational records, seafarer rosters, and financial matrices are isolated from other subscribers.

We do not claim ownership of any data uploaded or generated by your organization in the platform. You grant us a limited, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host and process this data solely for the purpose of delivering the Service.

3. Account Registration & Roles

Subscribers are responsible for configuring correct user roles (e.g. System Administrator, Technical Superintendent, Crew Coordinator) in the Tenant Settings panel. You must ensure that only authorized personnel have access to crewing, procurement, and commercial estimator actions.

4. Acceptable Use & API Integrity

You agree not to:

5. Commercial & Maritime Advisory

Advisory Disclaimer: Thalassacore serves as a digital record-keeping and estimating system. The calculations generated by the Voyage Estimator, Laytime Engine, and EU MRV modules do not supersede professional maritime judgment, classification society directives, or flag state regulations.

6. Third-Party Connections & Integrations

The Service supports integrations with external entities, including Marine Weather, AIS telemetry, and Logo Tiger 3 ERP environments. We are not responsible for the reliability or operational continuity of third-party APIs beyond our immediate control.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable maritime law, our cumulative liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall be limited to the subscription fees paid by you in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim event.

8. Contact & Governance
